The Project

An international law firm realized the need for seamless communication amongst their employees and easy access to information. Ultimately, they needed a SharePoint application.

The Challenge

At the time, the law firm was struggling with the task of locating and accessing important information, such as phone numbers, departments, locations, and titles. The firm contacted Aciron to develop a custom employee directory.

First off, Aciron conducted a requirements gathering session to fully understand the firm’s needs. We were then able to determine the best strategy for an employee directory, which would also leverage the firm’s existing technology investments. Based on our meeting, Aciron proposed a custom browser-based .NET application.

Ts.o explain our idea to the client, we designed interative storyboards and process flow diagrams to represent the layout and functionality of the employee directory. Our team opened the floor for feedback from the client and encouraged active participation from all parties. The Aciron team regularly reviewed said documentation with the client, incorporating client feedback throughout the entirety of the process.

Aciron’s Solution

In conclusion, Aciron developed a custom browser-based directory that was tailored to the specific needs of the client. The user-friendly UI included an intuitive display and navigation, which allowed the client’s employees to find their employee information seamlessly.
