Each month, we highlight an employee from different departments of the company across the world, who will share with our readers a little bit about themselves and what it means to be a part of the Aciron team.
Today, Sonam Shivhare, a Software Developer at our office in New Delhi, India, talks about what attracted her to Aciron, her favorite part of the job, and the time she went scuba diving!

I’ve been with Aciron since May 2016.

Before working at Aciron, I got my engineering degree (Bachelor of Technology in Electronics & Communication Engineering) from Uttar Pradesh Technical University.
What attracted you to Aciron?
The work culture, core values, and learning environment are the most attractive aspects of Aciron. Everyone in the company is very helpful.
How would you quickly explain what you do?
I am a User Interface (UI) developer. My job is to provide the user interface solution for the end user, including the final look, feel, and behavior of the interface in different contexts.
What’s your favorite part of the job?
I love solving any challenge in web development.
What do you like to do for fun?
For fun, I love to spend quality time with my family and friends. It doesn’t take much to please me — whether we’re making a meal together and watching a movie or enjoying a day of shopping, I am happy. I also like to try new restaurants, especially family-owned establishments. When I’m by myself, I really enjoy reading a good book. I love how fiction can help me to get out of my head and relax.
Where is your favorite place that you have ever visited?
Lakshadweep, a tropical archipelago off the coast of India, is my favorite place that I have visited. In winter 2017, I took a cruise there on a huge ship that had 6 floors, with all amenities inside the ship. As soon as we entered the island, it was so beautiful that everyone was spellbound! We went kayaking, and we also went scuba diving, which was an amazing life experience. The water was crystal clear, and you felt as if you were in a different world. The overall experience was amazing — Lakshadweep is a must-visit place.
