Each month, we highlight an employee from different departments of the company across the world, who will share with our readers a little bit about themselves and what it means to be a part of the Aciron team.
Today, Ron Rescigno, a Consultant at our office in Cambridge, MA, talks about what attracted him to Aciron, what sets the company apart from others, and his vacation with monkeys!
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in central New Jersey, about an hour outside of New York City and an hour and a half outside a Philadelphia.
What did you do before?
Before working at Aciron I interned at Future Boston, a non-profit dedicated to building cultural growth throughout the city by supporting local art, music, and technology.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
I love helping clients serve their business problems through the use of technology. It’s great to see each different stage in the process and how clients are able to work more efficiently once we have developed customized applications for them.
What’s your favorite part about Aciron?
The people are great! Everyone strives to do their best and to bring out the best in others.
What’s your favorite part about your job?
My favorite part of the job is that there is always something new to learn from the challenges that I face.
What’s your favorite thing about working in Cambridge?
My favorite part about working in Cambridge and more specifically the heart of Central Square is that there is a ton to do around the area. There are a lot of great restaurants and my favorite concert venue, The Middle East, is right down the street.
What do our clients think about Ron?
One of Ron’s clients had these kind things to say about working with him:
“I am reaching out to let you know how much I appreciate working with Ron. Not only is it nice having someone on our account long-term but Ron, in particular, is excellent to work with. He’s very responsive and helpful and I trust him (which takes a lot haha). A while back I started leaving [the project manager] off most of the e-mails and just converse directly with Ron. That is a direct result of Ron’s excellent customer service and understanding of our needs.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know…he’s a keeper! I’m sure you already do!”
-Brianna Goodwin, Executive Vice President at Ver-Tex
What do you like to do for fun?
I really enjoy concert photography and writing about music.
Where is your favorite place that you have ever visited?
My favorite place that I’ve visited is Costa Rica. I went with my family a few years ago and we got to play with monkeys! (I have a picture to prove it!)
People would be surprised if they knew:
When I was a baby I was in TV commercials for a photography store.
