Position Details
We are is currently seeking a bright, motivated Social Media Intern for the summer 2012 to assist in developing and executing
the firm's social media initiatives and strategies. The intern will play an active and integral role in our
marketing team and the firm's growth initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Actively communicate with and engage target customers via social media tools,
- Build follower base and expand company’s presence and awareness on social media networks,
- Ensure social media strategy is carried out in parallel with overall marketing goals,
- Assist in creating structured marketing communications plans and strategies,
- Research industry and social media at large for new trends and competitive analysis,
- Track, monitor, and analyze social media effectiveness and make corrective modifications as needed,
- Assist in developing Aciron blog and creating content for blog posts, newsletters, and other marketing communication materials,
- Assist in day-to-day marketing activities, and other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Expert in online social networking, especially Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Foursquare, and Google+
- Knowledge of business marketing tools available on these sites
- Knowledge of industry influencers who participate on these sites
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Knowledge of design tools is a plus)
- Ability to write professional sales and marketing materials that are engaging and persuasive
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A team player with interest in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
